SF Weekly's annual Music Awards event is our chance to throw a big old bash celebrating the Bay Area's best songwriters, rappers, producers, and club promoters in a diversity of styles. They've polled industry insiders to compile a ballot of 40 favorite artists and club nights, and readers are busily voting their picks in ten different categories. Live performances from recent SF Weekly cover-story subject, the electro-funk specialists Wallpaper., as well as multi-generational dance and drum ensemble Loco Bloco. We'll also have a DJ set by dubstep/hip-hop/electro duo Lazer Sword, and comedic insight from our host, funny guy Alex Koll (aka The Awesome). |
